Nathan Coté studied photography at Minnesota State University Moorhead. His work explores the disconnection of the printed photo from the reality of the subject by examining his environment and how people move and exist in that environment. He exploits awkward moments in unfamiliar settings and the silences after the storms, but he wants you to decide for yourself. Among other notable achievements Nathan’s work has been selected for the Spring Gala at The Plains Art Museum and he received best in show at the BAGA Gallery in Bismarck. He comes from Dickinson.
