Sarah Hultin

Sarah Hultin was born in Hoople, North Dakota, where she developed an interest in art at a young age. Though limited art sources were offered in her community, she sought to individually develop her skills in both drawing and painting. In 2004, she enrolled at Minnesota State University Moorhead for Graphic Design. There she began to develop her understanding of painting through courses, which she found herself relentlessly pursuing due to a newly discovered passion. It was in 2007 that her interest in painting pushed her towards the decision of choosing painting as her area of study. Since, Sarah has received an Art & Design Excellence Scholarship from MSUM and has exhibited her work in local museums including the North Dakota Museum of Art and the Plains Art Museum. She has also been featured in From House to Home magazine and currently has her work up for display in the Hotel Donaldson, downtown Fargo. Sarah completed her Bachelors of Fine Art at MSUM in the fall of 2009.
