How long is an OU campus tour?

Your campus tour experience will last approximately 2.5 hours. Once you arrive on campus, an OU staff member will give a brief admissions presentation followed by a walking tour (3 miles) of campus given by an OU student tour guide.

What do girls wear in state?
Capris are acceptable. Business Casual is defined as: khakis, capris, nice jeans, dress pants, or skirts, and a nice top….Other items to bring:

Do I have to live on campus at OU?

Dresses are fine, provided you cover your shoulders with a sweater or blazer. Keep your skirt length to around your knees (especially if you’re walking around!), but don’t worry about pantyhose or tights if they’re not comfortable or seasonally appropriate.

Just because you don’t want to overdress doesn’t mean under-dressing is okay, either. It’s not. Anything ripped or torn (even fashionably so) is off limits.

What should parents wear to college visit?
For parents, I’d really try to avoid wearing a suit. I know this can be tempting, but think business casual, or even a cross between casual and business casual. If you wear a suit, you will stand out. In general, you want to avoid standing out and you just want to blend in with the group.

For men, bring a collared shirt with nice jeans or khakis. For women, a skirt, dress, nice slacks or jeans are acceptable. Avoid wearing sweatshirts, sweatpants, hats, flip flops and ripped jeans. Bring athletic clothes and shoes in case you get invited to work out with the team.
