What does a fissures look like?

An acute anal fissure looks like a fresh tear, somewhat like a paper cut. A chronic anal fissure likely has a deeper tear, and may have internal or external fleshy growths. A fissure is considered chronic if it lasts more than eight weeks.

Where is the fissure located?

Most typical fissures are primary and are caused by local trauma in the context of anal spasm or high anal pressure. Primary anal fissures are most commonly located at the posterior midline and less commonly at the anterior midline.

The vent is often a few metres wide and may be many kilometres long. Fissure vents can cause large flood basalts which run first in lava channels and later in lava tubes. After some time the eruption builds up spatter cones and may concentrate on one or some of them.

The simplest Indian home remedy for anal fissures is to fill warm water in a bathtub and add a few drops of betadine liquid by mixing it thoroughly. Sit in a straight posture in the tub for about 10-20 minutes.

Some people may be able to feel a nodule or lump that’s red, swollen, and tender at the rim of the anus. Fever and chills can result from the infection. You may also have rectal bleeding or urinary symptoms, such as difficulty urinating.
