What was the purpose of the Northern Gateway pipeline?
The Northern Gateway Pipeline is a project proposed by Enbridge Inc. to build twin pipelines that will transfer natural gas condensate from British Columbia to Alberta in order to export diluted bitumen to the west and access international waters through the marine terminal in Kitimat.
