Can you use Aquapanel outdoor?
Knauf Aquapanel Exterior Cement Boards provide a solid, dry base that can withstand the extreme weathering effects of wind, rain and snow. It is an ideal substrate for directly applied render finishes and can be used for exterior walls in ventilated systems, exterior ceilings and soffits.
Which side of Aquapanel do you render?
We recommend that the smooth face is rendered onto. If the boards have been installed rough side out, make a note of the batch number against the project name and render can be applied to the rough side.
How do you stick an aqua board to the wall?

How do you cut exterior Aquapanel?
Use a knife to score the Knauf Aquapanel Exterior on one side so that the mesh is cut. Snap the scored edge and cut through the mesh on the rear side. For sharp-edged cuts, for example exterior edges, use a hand-held circular saw with a dust extractor or a pendulum jigsaw.
Do you need to waterproof Aquapanel?
Yes the aquapanel is impervious to water but the penetration will happen in the joints specially corners. For few pound more you will have peace of mind so my advice is to tank it.
Can you tile straight onto aqua board?
AQUAPANEL® Cement Board Indoor (according DIN EN-12467) As a standard it is possible to apply tiles – without taking further measures – with a max. weight up to 50 kg/m² in the interiors and a tile size up to 600 mm x 600 mm. Set studs at maximum 625 (600) mm for horizontal and vertical installation of the boards.
Can Aquapanel be DOT and dabbed?
