How do you pay for parking at the RAF Museum?
Fees from 1 April 2021 Updated parking charges now apply at the Royal Air Force Museum’s London site from Thursday 1 April 2021. Payment will now be made at the end of your visit, using the payment machines located in Hangar 1. These machines will also provide you with change and will also accept payment by card.

What is Hendon aerodrome used for now?
Late in 1968 a Blackburn Beverley, flown in to be an exhibit at the new RAF Museum, was the last aircraft to land in Hendon. The RAF base finally closed altogether in 1987. The area of the aerodrome is now the site of the Grahame Park Housing Estate, and Hendon Police College. The RAF Museum now situated on the site.
