What is Georgia All State Band?
What is it? The all-state band is comprised of students from all over the state who perform together one weekend in March in Athens. The students are chosen through a series of auditions. Only the top students in the state get to perform in this great group.

The Georgia Music Educators Association is one of fifty-one state affiliates of the National Association for Music Education. GMEA was founded in 1938 and has been active in music education in Georgia continuously since that time.
