Can I install Sky Q myself?
@Katie07 it is perfectly simple to do a self install – it is also cheaper as it happens – Sky send full instructions in the kit but essentially it is plug the box in and follow the onscreen instructions. Assuming the new mini is within wifi range of your main Q box the two should sync quite easily.

What’s the difference between Sky and Sky Q?
Q’s multi room system works completly differently with small Q mini boxes replacing separate unconnected boxes that Sky +HD uses and all of the Q boxes share a common list of recordings which has pluses and minuses. Q uses wifi to connect and requires an internet connection.
