Severin Manor is a large, Redoran-style manor located in the north-west corner of Raven Rock, midway between the market square and the Earth Stone. It is the only ownable property available to the player on Solstheim.

No, you can’t move either your spouse or your kids to the Severin Manor. Likewise you can’t hire a steward nor upgrade any room in it for children’s beds.

During the First Era, Nords who fell in battle during the War of the First Council in Morrowind were brought to Solstheim for burial. Here, the Skaal used the magic of the land itself on their icy tombs to keep them safe from grave robbers. This enchanted ice later became known as Stalhrim.
What happens if you sleep in Solstheim?
In the Dragonborn DLC for Skyrim, you can travel to Solsteim. If you sleep in any of the beds in Solsteim before Miraak is defeated, you wake up near one of the All-Maker Stones, having been hypnotized to work in your sleep like everyone else.
Why does Miraak keep taking my dragon souls?
The stealing really is supposed to happen because the devs assume you have completed the main plot at this point, and have stockpiled Dragon Souls, but I you can use these tips to avoid it: Using Ahzidal’s boots of Waterwalking, kill a dragon on the water and SUCC the soul. Miraak cannot appear on water.
Why is my Bend Will shout not working?
Make sure you are using all three words of the shout, as any less will be completely ineffective. If it continues not to work, try killing yourself in Apocrypha so you are forced back to Solstheim, then re-enter the black book and try again.
Can your spouse live in Severin Manor?
No spouses are able to move into Severin Manor, except for the three marriage candidates added by the Dragonborn expansion: Hilund, Morwen and Halbarn Iron-Fur. Children cannot be moved here, as there are no child beds.

No, there’s no stable in Solstheim. So sorry, but no horse. Getting teleported when you sleep anywhere on Solstheim in supposed to happen, as it’s connected to the DLC’s main quest.

The Skaal are a monotheistic society of Nords who inhabit the Skaal Village on Solstheim. They are culturally and religiously different to their counterparts in Skyrim.
What do the Skaal believe in?
The Skaal believe in a metaphysical being called the Adversary who is always watching, and that he delights in tormenting the All-Maker and his chosen people. The Greedy Man is considered to be the avatar of the Adversary, a mortal who becomes possessed by the Adversary.
