What are the Air Force PT requirements?
Only correctly performed push-ups are counted.
- Males, ages 29 and under: 33 push-ups in a minute.
- Males, ages 30 to 39: 27 push-ups in a minute.
- Females, ages 29 and under: 18 push-ups in a minute.
- Females, ages 30 to 39: 14 push-ups in a minute.

What is a passing PFA score?
To pass, cadets must complete all events; achieve the minimum score in each event and a total score of at least 75 points. See exact points per event by gender on following pages.
What are the female PT requirements for the Air Force 2021?
Women under 25 must complete 1.5 miles within 18 minutes and 56 seconds. They’re also required to log at least 22 shuttles, 15 pushups, six modified pushups, 35 sit-ups, 11 reverse crunches and a plank lasting at least 55 seconds.
Is the Air Force strict on weight?
The Air Force is very strict on weight requirements for basic training. Once you’re in the Delayed Entry Program (DEP), it is your responsibility to stay under your maximum weight. If you are over the Air Force weight requirement you will not ship to basic training.
