Alex and Carl Smith are two angling-mad brothers from Sussex who have developed a huge YouTube following since they began making videos in 2010. We are thrilled that we can make several of their videos available to FishingTV members for free.
What happened to Carl and Alex?
I’m still making fishing and fishkeeping films, as well as running the Fishing Tutorials channel. I feel sadness realising my business is no longer ‘Carl and Alex’ but instead ‘Fish With Carl’. There are positives though; I get to focus on making the films which excite me, but weren’t satisfying Alex so much.
Why did Carl and Alex leave Nash?
The pair, both in their early twenties, are also highly regarded in the industry for their work with popular tackle and bait brand Nash. It was, therefore, a surprise when in a recent video they revealed they’d be leaving Nash in order to focus more on their own channel ‘Carl and Alex Fishing’.
